KAMALUDIIN MUSTAFA MOHAMED
KAMALUDIIN MUSTAFA is the Founder and Director of UMA Universal Muslim Academy in Moorhead MN and He is the Coordinator of Arabic Program and a Teacher of Hadith and Arabic Language . Before UMA Academy , He taught English and Law terminology ,Faculty of Law at the University of AlMargheb in Tahouna ,Libya. He also taught Accounting at Vocational Higher Institute in Tarhouna, Libya. He taught Arabic for Non Arab Students and African Communities Center in Tripoli, Libya. His devotion to the Arabic language is matched only by his deep concern for student learning.
Kamaludiin Mustafa studied his Post Graduate courses in Accounting in 2008 AGS Tripoli, Libya. He recieved BSC of Accounting in 2006 University of Tripoli . Tripoli, Libya . He recieved Associate Degree in Accounting from University of Science and Technology 1995 Sana'a,Yemen. He graduated at Moalim Jama High Secondary School 1984 In Mogadishu-Somalia.
He is a lifelong student of the Islamic tradition. Born to Muslim parents, he began a serious study of Islam in his early teens. He receives Diplomas (ijazahs) from Sheikhs in Somalia,Yemen and others in several Islamic sciences, including Arabic grammar, morphology, and literature; Qur’an; hadith terminology and Interpretation ; Qur’anic recitation (tajwid); theology and Islamic creed (‘aqeedah); Shafi'i jurisprudence (fiqh); legal foundations (usul); logic ; astronomy (tawqit); ethics and spirituality (tasawwuf) and Islamic Cultures.
MOHAMED AHMED SH.BASHIR
Mohamed Ahmed Sheikh Bashir (jabuti)is a full-time Teacher member and Assistant Director at UMA Academy in Moorhead MN. He lived in Johansberg , South Africa for several years, studying and teaching the traditional Islamic sciences, with a focus on Qura'an Recitation Tajweed and theology, logic, hadith studies, and Arabic grammar. He also served as an instructor and academic advisor at the Islamic Center in South Africa . He is a faculty member and researcher for Seekersguidance.He has Ijaza for Hafs and Warsh forms of Qura'anic recitation.He is recognized for the beauty,clarity and excellence of his recitation.
OMAR ABDI DUBOW
Omar Abdi Dubow was born and raised in Somalia ,Omar teaches memorization of the Qura'an at UMA Academy in Moorhead MN. He memorized the Qura'an at the age 18 from Madrasa Islamic center in Somalia from Sheikh Ahmed. He has Ijaza for Hafs and Warsh forms of Qura'anic recitation.He is recognized for the beauty,clarity and excellence of his recitation and he is one of the foremost Teachers in both cities of Fargo/Moorhead area.
FARTUN MAHAD ABDI
Fartun Mahad Abdi is a member in tajwid and hifz at UMA Academy in Moorhed MN . She was born and raised in Hagar dheer Camp in Kenya . At the early age , she began her learning the Qura'an and through private study, She received ijazahs (authorization) in tajwid of the Qur'an, two on the narration of Hafs, and one on the narration of Warsh. Since 2016, she has been offering classes in tajwid to students of all ages, She currently is a Student at Moorhead High and resides in Moorhead, Minessota with her Parents .
